Title: Leadership Effectiveness

During this exciting and interactive presentation past and present cutting edge research will be presented showing the importance of creating a climate conducive to creativity and change for getting the best out of people, processes, and products. Participants will be introduced to a Model for Organizational Change, the concepts of organizational and psychological climate, and learn how they both impact, and are impacted, by that workplace climate. Participants will derive a list of best case and worst case working situations and explore their involvement in creating those situations.
Nine dimensions found to have the greatest impact on workplace productivity will be presented and defined. Participants will then use a short worksheet to record their perceptions of their current working climate. National and International data for like industry organizations will also be presented.
In conclusion, I will present the outcomes of a 2008 research project to help the participants develop a simple action plan to get them started to helping them improve their working climate for creativity and change
Title: Improving Workplace Effectiveness & Productivity

Title: I got a new idea....
Time: 30-45 minutes
In this fun and interactive presentation the importance of managing new ideas will be explored. A few "new ideas" will be presented and assessed by the group to gain insights into the way new ideas are supported in the workplace. Once it has been identifies how new ideas are typically handled, a tool from our Creative Problem Solving toolbox will be introduced, trained and applied to some new ideas.
Additionally, the concept of one's "style" preferences and its impact on how we respond to each other when hearing a new ideas is also presented along with a three factor model for better understanding ones style preferences will also be introduced
In conclusion, I will help the participants develop a simple action plan to get them started to helping them improve the way they respond and support new ideas.
Title: We all got "Style"
Time: 30-45 minutes
In this fun and interactive presentation the concept and impact of of our own personal "style" will be explored. We have found when people understand the concept of "style" they tend to be more tolerant and understanding of others that have significantly different style preferences that themselves- thus helping all to be more productive while reducing stress.
During this presentation, we will define the term "style" and present a simple three factor model for understanding personal preferences when it comes to: 1) the way we manage change; 2) the way we process information; and 3) the way we make decisions. Small group and large group discussions will abound looking at how "style" plays out in our ever day lives and the roles we can deliberately play to improve social interaction.
In conclusion, I will help the participants develop a simple action plan to help them better understand why someone may be responding the way they are in an attempt to improve a more productive interaction between all parties.
Title: Where is my team?
Time: 30-45 minutes
In this interactive presentation participants will explore the best and worst case experiences they have had while working in a team. Outputs of those findings will be presented and discussed across the entire group along with a look at the benefits, liabilities and when it might be and not be advantageous to use a group
A Model for Group and Team Development will also be deconstructed to look at the relationship and activities between people and their tasks. Productive activities to help accelerate team performance in getting to the Performing stage of the model and beyond will also be developed.
The session will conclude with participants developing a simple action plan to help them better understand their role, responsibilities, and what actions they might take to improve team performance.
