Fielding Buyer Phone Calls and Emails
In today's information age, it will be important that you provide buyers with two ways to contact you. We suggest by phone and email.
Phone: We suggest, that you keep your private lines private, that you ADD an additional cell phone to your existing plan (and use only that number when advertising) or use something like Magic Jack, a tool that gives you a free phone number over the web. Another option is NOT to take any calls at all and hire someone to do that for you. Why? Because EVERY buyer WILL ask you what seems to be the simplest of questions- but one designed to provide them with the information they need to offer you the lowest price possible. For example: Why are you moving? Where are you moving to? How soon before you have to move to your new home? Answers to any one of these, the wrong way, could cost you tens of thousands of dollars at close. Other reasons For-Sale-by-Owners hire us to field there calls is that they are too busy to handle all the call at all times of day and night, or they just don't like talking to strangers- because they just don't know what to say.

Again we suggest you keep your personal email account private. One way you can do this is to set up a single email account just for this sale (Gmail, Yahoo, your own ISP, etc). When advertising, remember to put this email address into your ads. You may also want to use your property address in the email address, like: 123Butler@yahoo.com.
If you list your property for sale on our site you don't need to worry about email addresses at all. Why? Because when a buyer looks at your listing, they can send you and email through our engine- keeping your email private. Your phone number, or our phone number for those that use our Call Center Service, is also provided along with all the information and pictures for the property.
